As many of you know, I have litigated several matters against Corbis. Two decisions out of the Federal Court in New York found Corbis to be negligent in its handling and tracking of imagery after trial.  Additionally this office has a policy of not representing anyone who seeks to do business with Corbis.

The following link was sent to me by someone familiar with my Corbis cases http://networkedblogs.com/7lg4X

Click on the link ASAP.  Read it. You will no doubt, be shocked. I am not. Neither are my clients.  Draw your own conclusions as to the events revealed in the post.  Look at the photos carefully.  If you have a chance, read what I have been writing about Corbis since at least 1999.

The next time someone mentions Corbis as a photo agency and its “partnership” with independent photographers consider looking at this link again.  The truly pathetic thing is that your correspondent is utterly unsurprised.  Depressing?  You bet.

No doubt the Corbis PR machine will go into full gear advising you that you “have been deceived”, “isolated incident”, “unfortunate”, “error”, commitment to photographers blah, blah.  I suggest you remember the immortal words of Groucho Marx, “Who are you gonna believe? Me or your own eyes?”
